Open letter to Audrey Delsink.
The world woke up to the news that the Covid19 originated from South Africa according to https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/1280415/coronavirus-outbreak-south-africa-china-covid19-wuhan-spt as well as Audrey Delsink who is the wildlife director of the African branch of Humane Society International (HSI).
Audrey Delsink is not one of the Scientist involved in the research as to the origin of the deadly Covid19 and it may be possible that she is not a scientist by profession nor is she an accredited WHO spokesperson on matters related to Coronavirus.
Audrey Delsink may be working for Bell Pottinger for all we may know and her credibility is questionable since the organisation express.co.uk claims she works for is unknown to many.
Coronavirus has killed more than 81000 people in the United States of America with over 1348000 infected, whereas 286700 people have died and almost 4193400 infected worldwide. South Africa has the lowest number of Covid19 related deaths and infected people compared to China, Italy and the US.
Italy, South Africa and the US have the lowest number of people that consumes wild animals compared to China, which consumes dogs and, cats and other delicatessen. Not many people would consume bats, cats, dogs, frogs, etc even if they were paid to do so in both Italy, South Africa and the US except in Fear Factor.
South Africa is a small country compared to China and its wildlife is being depleted by the Chinese people in order to cater for the appetite of the people of China. The Chinese are involved in the depletion and smuggling of abalone and most probably pangolins.
Africans don't consume pangolins but use it for witchcraft purposes because they claim that the animal can render one with longevity. It is thought that the late Robert Mugabe would pay handsomely to anyone that brought him a pangolin. Pangolins are elusive animals and are hard to be found.
The article by express.co.uk puts it that Coronavirus is a Zoonotic transmitted disease and bats and pangolins, which are mostly trafficked animals that end up in China dinner tables, are carriers of the disease. The wildlife that are likely to be consumed by African people are mostly of the genus Connochaetes and smaller ones such as rabbits, wild hogs, etc but lizards and rodents are repulsive to many.
Too many people have already died of Covid19 and the US has an unstable leader who might attack South Africa with the military power at his disposal for being responsible for a virus that have killed so many Americans.
Audrey Delsink is setting in motion possible accusations of terrorism by South Africa against US citizens but I hope not. I just hope that Donald Trump isn't swayed from his conviction that this is a Chinese Virus and won't let MOABs rain on poor South Africans.
Jokes aside, I hope Audrey Delsink is not employed by the Gupta family to badmouth South Africa like they did with White Monopoly Capital. South Africa is home to many foreign nationals and the Covid19 that is found in the country is as a result of these people traveling to their countries of origin and back.
Also, I don't think South Africans would find a bat yummy. Bats are witchcraft tools in the country and Batman himself will never travel to China for fear of ending up in some Chinese stomach.
I believe that Audrey Delsink will do all of us a favour and let scientists do their job instead of throwing a spanner among the works. South Africa is already burdened with the scourge of HIV/AIDS and doesn't need any more drugs dumped onto our shores.
Through Lockdown we can beat Coronavirus even if Audrey Delsink thought that she would help pharmaceutical companies dump their poisons in our country.
Until Donald Trump says otherwise, don't believe what Audrey Delsink tells you and disregard everything she says with the contempt it deserves. After all, she may be working for Atul.
